Questions people ask
- Which domain lifecycle stages can I search?
- Search tools cover newly registered, aged, active, marketplace-listed, expiring, and just-dropped domains. Searches can use keywords, and several tools also support browsing a gTLD.
- Can it evaluate a domain before I register or buy it?
- Yes. It can check availability and registration or renewal pricing, then retrieve WHOIS/RDAP and DNS records; Google Safe Browsing status and backlink summaries require an account.
- Do I need an API key or paid account?
- No API key is required for guest access, but guest usage is limited. An API key provides higher limits, while safety, backlink, and Google Ads keyword data have account and tier restrictions.
